PONY Baseball and the PONY West Zone would like to congratulate Samuel Rohnow and Ethan Phonesavath of Tecolote Youth Baseball Bronco, who combined to pitch a no-hitter against San Diego Competitive Baseball this past weekend. Tecolote defeated SD Competitive 2-0 on the opening day of the Bronco Section tournament, which was hosted by Emerald PONY Baseball in El Cajon, California.

 

And talk about unwavering family support. John Dunmire, 95, attended a PONY West Zone tournament game last night to watch his grandson Sean Dunmire, first baseman for Chula Vista Pony South. West Zone, Southwest Region Director Keith Spencer presented John, a World War II veteran, with a West Zone PONY Baseball and Softball Coin.
